Mr Cornelius Henderson, portrait painter. Moved into this, one of Williamson’s properties, in 1834. Renowned artist of great merit. Thought to have painted the Williamson portrait shown in colour elsewhere on this site, but Walker Art Gallery records another artist - J. Jenkinson. Henderson believed to have married Williamson’s housekeeper and was left an annuity in Williamson’s will.
