Subterranea Britannica Great name for a well-respected organisation based in Surrey, dealing with all things underground. Well worth a look.

AditNow Captivating and busy site about mine exploration. Packed with information, discussions and some great photography.

Infiltration Good site from Canada. On-line magazine about going into places you're not supposed to in Toronto. Pushes the boundaries of trespass a bit (!) but genuine, fascinating and funny. Lots of strange tunnels, rooms, etc., all with photos. Thoroughly recommended.

Urban Adventure Good to see this back again after a break. Australian site with wide range of underground material.

Paris Underground The closed stations of the Paris Metro, including two that were built but never opened to the public! - photos, plans, etc. English version of an intriguing site from our Gallic cousins.

The Dutch Limestone Mines Netherlands-based site about the limestone quarries and pillar mines of Holland. Boy, do these fellas know their stuff! Maps, photos, 3-D plans, etc.

Follies and Folly Towers Excellent site, cataloguing whimsical buildings all over England. Grouped by county, with photo and details of each one. And you thought the tunnels were strange ...

abandoned places Heavy-loading but stylish site about abandonded places and projects, mainly in Europe. Very original content.

London Underground History ... with lots of informed material about the disused stations and lost sections of the Tube.

Portsdown Tunnels Total respect to this enthusiast - Bob Hunt - who is a one-man campaign to research and explore the myriad of secret underground features of a hill overlooking Portsmouth.

Zone Tour Photo-based French site (in English) about urban exploration - above and below ground - mainly in France. Lots of unusual pictures: abandoned factories, underground bunkers, etc..

Souterrains European site from the Union Internationale de Speleologie - a UNESCO-backed group which has a commission dedicated to tunnels, catacombs, caves, etc. Has details of lots of organisations like ours.
