.....Members' News added on 10th March 2002.....

· Newsletter

Issue 12 of the newsletter, 'The Mole', was sent out to members in February. Features include work at the stable yard tunnels, prospects for the extension of the banqueting hall and filming work by The History Channel.

· Gift Aid

Our recent registration with the Inland Revenue's Gift Aid scheme has been of great reward to the society. Thanks to many members filling in the form to register, FoWT is now able to claim tax back on membership subscriptions and donations, adding vital income to the tunnels fund. Members who haven't yet 'ticked the box' but would like to do so can e-mail us for further details.

· Members' visits

Whilst the tunnels at the stable yards will be permanently open to all after Easter, FoWT still feels it important that supporters of the tunnels have the chance to see the other accessible parts of the system - at the house and Paddington sites. It may be a long time before these sections are renovated and opened like the stables tunnels, so we are currenly planning for a further set of special members visits later in the year, to include all parts of the labyrinth. We will make arrangements known once they finalised.
