·Work continues on Stable tunnels

As the new houses have yet to be built on Smithdown Lane, the forthcoming tunnels attraction in the Stable Yard site is still visible from the road. This photo, taken in late January, shows the new glass wall that has been built in front of the double tunnel. A new linking passage now joins the back of the double tunnel to the corner tunnel, hidden behind the
renovated stable block visible here. A cobbled 'forecourt' is being laid in the foreground, whilst work continues inside the two tunnels to ready this section of the labyrinth for permanent opening in the Spring.
