This is the rarely seen 'boiler room', right under the facade of the house. This is an original Williamson structure, but has become known as the boiler room because it housed a boiler for a business that occupied the site later. The way in is through a hole knocked in the ceiling long ago - strangely, there is no real 'entrance'.
