Here again we are on top of the mound of rubble at the end of the Banqueting Hall, looking back towards the entrance - the 'gash'. This atmospherically-lit shot, taken during our members' visits in January 2000, highlights the strata in the sandstone walls. A couple of explorers are looking up towards the gothic arch seen in the 'Classic Arch' pitcure.
