This photo is looking along Mason Street towards Paddington, with the Williamson Student Village on the right. The patches in the foreground where the tarmac has broken away from the road surface are a symptom of a pronounced dip appearing in the road at this point. It happens to coincide with the probable identification of an underground feature here in the 1995 geophysics survey.
