This is at the bottom of the new steps. As you can see, the final four steps are Williamson's originals - with hand-cut bull-nosed edges. Some are damaged through wear; others were missing, but we have these stored safely so they could be refitted in future. If the photographer turned left at this point, the original side stair well would be ahead (as in the next picture).
