| This is one of the largest underground structures on this part of the tunnels site. It was uncovered during construction work for the Williamson Student Village and had to be re-filled to allow construction to continue. Like the L-shaped cavern, above, this feature contained 1930s concrete pillars put in to support the Paddington Gardens flats above, but original Williamson sandstone and brickwork was clearly visible. |
